Dear Vickie,

I just heard about Ralph's passing. A few days ago, I received his Christmas card in his crooked handwriting that I loved and always looked forward to seeing in my mailbox. I was Ralph's first office assistant in the mid-60s in Mediapolis, and we have been close friends ever since. I love him and will miss him terribly. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. I know how much he loved and appreciated you and how much you'll miss him.

Love, Karen

To the Honson family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Even though Ralph has been out of our community for awhile, we fondly remember him as our optometrist and also his impact on our community and church, especially all the work he did on the town centennial. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you during this difficult time. Diane and Tony
